Dear Parent and/or Teen,
Here are some things I have found in my years of working with teens
that I feel may have some value to you as a parent living with a teen
or a teen living with a parent. With an understanding of the relative
nature of pain and frustration, we can begin to seek real solutions or
real advice on how to better live, love and encourage one another.
In every
situation you are part of the problem or part of the solution. So, if
you feel you are stuck as part of the problem or would like to help and
encourage someone else who may be stuck and would like some help, we
are here for you.
My job is to equip and encourage you as teens with parents and
parents with teens to better walk with each other as you learn to serve Christ with your lives better and better each day and I pray these resources and ideas help you as much as many of them have helped me in the past.
And, as always, if there is ever anything we can do to help,
please do not hesitate to call and ask us for more resources, ideas or
good reasons to stop banging your head against the wall.
