AWANA

AWANA is our Wednesday night program for children 3 years old through 6th Grade.  It is a unique program for boys and girls that meets each Wednesday evening throughout the school year.  AWANA combines the excitement of four-way team competition with a through the Bible study program which leaves the children growing spiritually and excited to return each week for more.  Club is divided into three main segments:  Handbook Time; Council Time; and Game Time.

Handbook Time is a time where Clubbers memorize key Bible verses in attractive handbooks designed for their appropriate age groups.  The “Activity” section of the handbook gives the children plenty of exciting projects to work on.

Council Time is a time of sharing; songs; announcements; puppet skits and of course the heart of club night, a 10-15 minute Bible lesson and Gospel presentation.

Game Time is a time for team fun and games.  The Clubbers are divided into four teams:  red, yellow, green and blue.  Exciting four-way team competition with such games as “Bean-bag Relays” and “Balloon Battles” keep the Clubbers excited and coming back for more.
