NURSERY ~ Little Lambs ~ Birth to 2 years
We believe that infants begin to learn about the love of God even in the Nursery. By meeting needs promptly, caring, sharing and lots of smiles, we show them that God’s house is indeed a pretty wonderful place to be.
Composed of a team of carefully screened men and women, who are regular attendees and serve once a month.
“Bible Adventure Zone” classes, (Nursery through 6th) are available on Saturdays at
“Kid’s Worship Time” is our 1st through 6th Grade Children’s Church. KWT meets in the Children’s
“Wild & Crazy Fun Time 4 Kidz” ~ Children 1st through 6th Grade are invited to join us for these fun outings during Spring Break and throughout the Summer. Locations and activities vary from outing to outing. Children are treated to everything from local outings to trips as far away as
“Released-Time” ~ Many of our Children’s workers minister with, and under the direction of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) in ministering to public school children off campus during their lunch break. This is a great opportunity to minister to children who might otherwise never go to church. Released-Time follows the school year and is located in many schools throughout the region. “Cub Scouts” is a fun program for boys in the 1st - 5th Grades. Dens of 4-10 boys meet once weekly for crafts, games and learning with adult leaders. Dens are formed of boys that are all of the same grade. Once a month, all the Dens meet, along with their families, for a big activity called the “Pack Meeting.” Yearly activities include “Cub Day Camp” for a week in the summer, “Cub Residents Camp” for a long weekend, and “Webelos Weekend” in the Fall for older Cubs (Webelos Scouts). The aim of the Cub Scout Program is to introduce boys to Scouting and build family values. Den meeting times and locations vary ~ call Rachel Hayes at
“Boy Scouts” have been serving the needs of boys, 6th Grade through High School, for over 90 years now as these young men grow toward manhood. All Scouts in Troop 761 meet weekly at Spoondrift Lodge on Mondays,
“The Mailbox Club” ~ is a series of free Bible lessons for children by correspondence. There are four age groups available:
“See & Do” ~ for ages 4 - 7
“Explorers” ~ for ages 9 - 11
“Story Time” ~ for ages 7 - 9
“Winners” ~ for ages 11 - 13
There are two series of lessons for each age group. Children are sent the first lesson. After the lesson is mailed back, the answers are checked and the next lesson is sent to the child. There are between 7 - 10 lessons in each series. When the child has completed all of the lessons, he or she receives a certificate with his or her name on it and the first lesson in the next series.
